The most successful group of hand welders for welding plastic piping is equipped with a 32mm heating mandrel. The welders have a power demand of 600 W and are suitable for dimensions of 16 – 63mm. The minimalised diameter of the heating element is suitable for welding positions which are difficult to reach.
Welders are used in conjunction with jaw adapters. The main advantages of the jaw adapters are optimal dimensions, a higher thermal efficiency and they are easily replaceable on a warmed-up mandrel without causing it to damage. The surface of the adaptors is coated with high quality Teflon.
Welders are supplied in small robust metal suitcase along with 20 – 63mm jaw adapters, table clamp and a wrench for changing adapter.
